Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet each client’s needs.
  • Demonstrate in‑depth product knowledge and educate clients on application techniques and ingredient benefits.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date awareness of beauty trends, new launches and category innovations to inform client advice.
  • Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding individual sales goals and store KPIs.
  • Support merchandising, inventory activities and ensure a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor.
  • Foster an inclusive, team‑oriented atmosphere and uphold Sephora’s customer service standards and policies.
  • Be punctual and available for required shifts, including nights, weekends and peak holiday periods.

Qualifications

  • Previous client‑facing experience in retail, hospitality or a service environment preferred but not required (entry level acceptable).
  • A genuine passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Quick learner able to absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform retail‑floor tasks.
  • Ability to meet the store’s minimum weekly shift/hours and be available during peak retail periods.
