Sephora seeks a part-time Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations at the Pentagon City store location in Arlington, Virginia. This hourly, non-exempt position requires 15–29 weekly hours including availability for peak retail operations (evenings, weekends, and holidays). The role demands demonstrated excellence in customer service, product knowledge, and the ability to drive sales performance while fostering an inclusive retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations tailored to individual client needs
- Demonstrate comprehensive product expertise and educate clients on beauty techniques, trends, and innovations
- Maintain current knowledge of beauty trends, product launches, and competitive offerings to provide relevant advice
- Support inventory management, visual merchandising, and maintain a clean, organized store environment
- Drive sales performance and key performance indicators through exceptional client engagement
- Foster an inclusive team culture and promote a sense of belonging among colleagues
- Adhere to Sephora policies, procedures, and security standards to ensure a safe shopping experience
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and develop strong client relationships in retail, hospitality, or client-focused environments
