Sephora in Annapolis, USA seeks a Part-time Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized consultations, product recommendations, and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and bespoke product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance; educate and empower clients on usage, formulation and application techniques.
- Stay current with beauty trends, launches and techniques to provide relevant, up-to-date advice.
- Drive sales performance and exceed KPIs through consultative selling, upselling and clienteling.
- Support store operations including inventory tasks, merchandising, stock replenishment and maintaining a clean, organized salesfloor.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment and represent Sephora’s standards of service and safety.
- Maintain punctuality and reliable attendance; be available for scheduled shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Previous customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a client service environment preferred.
- Demonstrable passion for beauty, trends and client empowerment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; prior retail or hospitality experience is preferred and advantageous but not strictly required. Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and deliver excellent service is valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.80 to USD 22.90 per hour.
