Sephora in Amherst, NY seeks a Part‑Time Beauty Advisor; $18–$23/hr, client consultations and product expertise.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance and educate clients on application and routines.
  • Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators through proactive client engagement and follow-up.
  • Maintain merchandising standards, support inventory processes and ensure a clean, organized, customer-ready sales floor.
  • Stay current with beauty trends and product launches to provide relevant, up-to-date advice.
  • Contribute to an inclusive team environment and adhere to company policies to ensure a safe and enjoyable shopping experience.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent client service in retail, hospitality or another client-focused environment.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and client empowerment with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative, goal-driven approach.
  • Availability for retail peak hours including nights, weekends and holidays; ability to meet minimum weekly shift requirements.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience
