Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet individual client needs and beauty goals.
- Demonstrate product expertise and provide education on application techniques, ingredients, and regimen routines.
- Stay current on beauty trends, new product launches, and category innovations to provide relevant advice.
- Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators through proactive client engagement and conversion.
- Support inventory management, visual merchandising, and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and inviting.
- Promote an inclusive, collaborative team environment and uphold Sephora’s standards and store policies.
- Maintain flexible availability and reliable attendance, including nights, weekends and holiday peak periods.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service in a retail, hospitality, or client-facing environment (preferred but not mandatory).
- Passion for beauty, cosmetics, and current trends with eagerness to learn and share product knowledge.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable building rapport with diverse clientele.
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving collective sales goals and maintaining high visual standards.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to perform standing retail duties for extended periods.
- Availability to meet required minimum weekly shifts and work peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
Experience
Entry-level role; previous retail, hospitality, or client-facing experience is preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and deliver excellent service is valued.
Education
