Sephora — Beauty Advisor (Part-time, 10 hrs/week) at Magasin Aarhus, Denmark. Customer-facing role focused on product advisory, merchandising and sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised client consultations and product recommendations to drive conversion and basket value.
- Maintain flawless product presentation and visual merchandising in accordance with brand guidelines.
- Manage stock: receive, warehouse and replenish merchandise on the sales floor; prepare product for sale.
- Operate the cash register/POS, process transactions and support after-sales service.
- Conduct inventories and support merchandising updates and conversions.
- Ensure store cleanliness and upkeep of furniture and display units.
- Contribute to daily operational tasks and meet KPIs (conversion rate, items per basket, average basket, customer satisfaction, number of services).
Qualifications
- Communicative, reliable and well organised with a customer-centric mindset.
- Team player with a friendly, motivating and open manner.
- Interest in or prior experience within beauty, cosmetics, retail, fashion or hospitality sectors.
- Initial retail or advisory experience interacting with customers is preferred.
- Strong awareness of beauty trends and product categories.
- Fluent in English and/or fluent in the local language (Danish).
- Alignment with LVMH behaviours: people-oriented, creative, results-driven and entrepreneurial.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level: some prior retail or customer-facing experience desirable; first roles in beauty or cosmetics welcomed. Demonstrable aptitude for customer advice and sales is required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications in beauty/cosmetics are a plus.
