Sephora seeks a Beauty Advisor (20% fixed-term, May–July) in Spreitenbach, Switzerland.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive, expert advice and personalised consultations to clients across makeup, skincare, haircare and fragrance categories.
  • Deliver short in-store services (mini makeovers, product demonstrations and consultations) to enhance the customer experience and drive conversion.
  • Communicate product knowledge, seasonal trends and new launches to clients and colleagues.
  • Execute visual merchandising standards and ensure the salesfloor presentation meets Sephora guidelines.
  • Maintain stock levels on the salesfloor and in the stockroom; prepare and replenish merchandise to optimise availability.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and follow store procedures for transactions, returns and hygiene/safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Relevant interest or comparable experience in beauty, cosmetics, retail, fashion or hospitality.
  • Initial retail or advisory experience with demonstrable customer-service skills preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; able to build rapport quickly with diverse clients.
  • Solid knowledge of current beauty trends and product categories (makeup, skincare, haircare, fragrance).
  • Fluent English and proficiency in the country’s primary language (German) — or native-level proficiency in either language.
  • Availability to work on site in Spreitenbach and for the fixed-term period (May–July); legal right to work in Switzerland.

Experience
