Role & Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, engaging, and on-trend content optimized for various social media platforms.
  • Apply basic retouching techniques to enhance the visual appeal of videos.
  • Incorporate existing motion graphics and visual elements to create visually dynamic and captivating video content.
  • Contribute compelling narratives that align with Sephora's brand voice and resonate with the target audience on social media.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, video editing techniques, and platform-specific best practices.
  • Collaborate with Social Content Leads, Social Producers, and other team members to align video content with campaign objectives and brand strategies.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in video editing with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in social video creation.
  • Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and/or similar tools.
  • Deep intuitive understanding of current social media platforms and their content ecosystems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
