Role & Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations alongside the Store Manager to ensure sales targets, profitability and exemplary client experiences are met.
• Lead, coach and develop store teams through real-time feedback, formal performance reviews and tailored learning to maximise individual and store performance.
• Recruit, onboard and retain diverse talent that reflects Sephora’s service standards and brand values.
• Drive client engagement and loyalty through personalised service, product expertise and effective use of loyalty programs.
• Ensure operational excellence by maintaining visual merchandising and store standards, inventory accuracy, compliance with policies, and loss-prevention protocols.
• Optimise staffing and inventory resources, adapt to changing priorities, and execute initiatives to grow sales in a high-volume retail environment.

Qualifications

• Proven success in an assistant store manager or comparable supervisory role within fast-paced, high-volume retail.
• Demonstrated leadership and business acumen with experience recruiting, coaching and developing teams to achieve measurable results.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to give constructive feedback and build trust across teams and clients.
• Client-centric mindset with a track record of delivering personalised experiences that drive loyalty and repeat business.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; capable of safe manual handling of stock and product application.

Experience

Demonstrated success as an assistant store manager or senior supervisor in beauty or specialty retail, typically 3+ years in high-volume, customer-facing environments with a record of driving team performance and sales growth.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, retail management, cosmetology or a related field preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 66,200 to USD 81,050 per annum.
