Sephora is hiring a full-time, permanent Assistant Store Manager for its Winter Park store. The role supports daily operations and client experience, leads and develops the team, recruits talent, and drives sales, profitability, and operational excellence; it is on-site and requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations, deliver exceptional client experiences, and drive sales and profitability.
  • Lead, coach, inspire, and develop the team, fostering growth, accountability, and achievement of performance goals.
  • Attract, hire, and onboard talent to build a diverse and inclusive team aligned with Sephora’s values and service standards.
  • Support continuous learning through real-time coaching, actionable feedback, and ongoing guidance.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback and mentorship to support team members’ career development and engagement.
  • Deliver outstanding client service, resolve concerns, and drive engagement through loyalty programmes and personalized experiences.
  • Maintain an immaculate, visually inspiring store and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and brand guidelines.
  • Optimize inventory and staffing resources, adapting to changing priorities and opportunities.
  • Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds; bend and stretch to stock shelves; stand and walk the sales floor for an entire shift; work in a fragrance-filled environment; and handle and apply products to clients, with or without accommodation.

  • Demonstrated success as a retail assistant manager in fast-paced, high-volume environments, driving results and improving team performance through hands-on leadership.
  • Strong ability to recruit, inspire, and develop talent to deliver results and foster an energetic, collaborative atmosphere.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a record of building trust, clarity, and enthusiasm across teams and clients.
  • Ability to deliver constructive feedback and facilitate open dialogue to support growth and high performance.
  • Commitment to developing teams through tailored mentorship, real-time coaching, and actionable feedback, while fostering learning and accountability.
  • Experience creating personalized client experiences that build loyalty while balancing operational priorities and driving business growth.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 60,100 to USD 73,600 per annum.
