Sephora seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Sydney, Australia to lead a team and drive sales performance in luxury beauty retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in leading and motivating the team to deliver client-centric service and build brand loyalty
- Utilize data analytics to inform operational decisions and collaborate with Store Manager and District Manager on business growth strategies
- Drive a selling culture within the team to achieve KPIs while promoting Sephora's values and vision
- Monitor and manage store profit and loss, including shrinkage percentages, sales conversion, and revenue forecasting
- Identify, attract, and develop talented team members through coaching, feedback, and career development opportunities
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and operational changes, including brand events and visual merchandising updates
- Maintain store cleanliness, visual presentation, and brand standards to reinforce Sephora's culture
- Work hands-on on the sales floor to motivate team members and support first-class customer service delivery
- Monitor key performance indicators and help develop internal talent to support career progression
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail or store line management experience
- Demonstrated experience in a big box retailer or multi-site environment
- Proven track record in retail management at a supervisory or assistant manager level
- Experience driving sales performance and achieving KPIs in a beauty or luxury retail setting
- Strong ability to lead, coach, and develop team members at all levels
