Sephora (First Colony, Sugar Land, TX) seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations, coach teams, and drive client experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day store operations to ensure a seamless, high-touch client experience while meeting sales and profitability targets.
- Coach, mentor and develop associates through real-time feedback, performance appraisals and individualized development plans.
- Recruit, onboard and retain diverse retail talent that embodies Sephora’s service standards and brand values.
- Drive client engagement and loyalty through personalized service, product knowledge, and promotion of loyalty programs.
- Ensure operational excellence including visual merchandising, inventory management, policy compliance, and a pristine store environment.
- Optimize staffing and inventory resources to respond to shifting priorities and maximize store performance.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in an assistant store management or comparable supervisory role within fast-paced, high-volume retail.
- Proven leadership capability to recruit, inspire and develop teams to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional client service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience providing constructive feedback and performance coaching.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by retail schedules.
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role (lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for entire shifts, handle and apply beauty products).

Proven track record as an assistant store manager or senior retail supervisor in high-traffic, service-oriented environments, with demonstrable results in sales growth, team development and operational execution.
Education
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or related field preferred.
