Role & Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and ensure a seamless, high‑touch client experience while meeting sales and profitability targets.
• Lead, coach and develop store staff through real‑time feedback, formal performance appraisals and tailored mentorship to drive engagement and results.
• Recruit, hire and onboard diverse talent that reflects Sephora’s service standards and brand values.
• Drive client engagement and loyalty through personalized service, product knowledge and promotion of loyalty programs.
• Maintain visual merchandising, store presentation and operational compliance with company policies and brand guidelines.
• Optimize inventory and staffing allocations to respond to sales trends and operational needs in a high‑volume retail environment.
• Resolve client concerns with professionalism and ownership to protect brand reputation and maximize satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven success in an assistant store manager or equivalent supervisory role within fast‑paced, high‑volume retail.
• Demonstrable leadership and business acumen with ability to motivate teams and deliver against sales KPIs.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; capable of delivering constructive feedback and facilitating development.
• Passion for coaching and continuous learning with a track record of developing associates’ capabilities and careers.
• Client‑centric mindset with experience creating personalized experiences that drive loyalty and repeat business.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by retail operations.
• Ability to perform physical duties of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds and applying products on clients; must be able to work in a fragrance‑rich environment.

Experience

Demonstrated track record as an assistant store manager or senior supervisory leader in a busy retail environment, consistently achieving sales goals, developing teams and maintaining operational standards.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or a related field preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 66,200 to USD 81,050 per annum.
