Sephora Assistant Store Manager in Schaumburg, IL (Woodfield Mall) — lead store operations and teams at the Woodfield Shopping Center location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day store operations in partnership with the Store Manager to deliver exceptional client experience while driving sales and profitability.
- Lead, coach and develop store teams through real-time feedback, performance appraisals and structured mentorship to meet KPI and service standards.
- Recruit, onboard and retain diverse talent that reflects brand values and high-touch client service expectations.
- Ensure operational excellence by maintaining visual merchandising standards, store cleanliness, inventory accuracy and policy compliance.
- Drive client engagement through personalized service, loyalty program activation and resolution of client issues to maximize satisfaction and retention.
- Optimize staffing and inventory resources to respond to traffic patterns and commercial opportunities in a high-volume retail environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years of assistant store management or equivalent retail leadership experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
- Proven ability to recruit, hire and develop high-performing retail teams, with strong people management and coaching skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience delivering constructive feedback and conducting performance reviews.
- Client-centric mindset with demonstrated success driving sales, loyalty and memorable in-store experiences.
- Ability to perform physical duties required by the role (lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for entire shift, bend/stretch to stock).
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by store hours.

Experience
Minimum of 3 years of retail assistant management or equivalent leadership experience in fast-paced, high-volume stores with demonstrable results in team development and sales performance.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management or related field preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 69,500 to USD 85,100 per annum.
