Sephora seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Plano, TX (Legacy West) to lead store operations, team development and client experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support daily store operations alongside the Store Manager to ensure seamless service, sales execution and adherence to brand standards.
  • Coach, inspire and develop store associates through real‑time feedback, performance appraisals and actionable mentorship to meet individual and team goals.
  • Recruit, onboard and retain diverse talent that reflects Sephora's values and the signature client experience.
  • Drive client engagement and loyalty through personalized service, effective use of loyalty programs and resolution of client concerns.
  • Maintain operational excellence including merchandising standards, visual presentation, inventory accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Optimize staffing and inventory resources to maximize sales, productivity and profitability in a high‑volume retail setting.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an assistant store manager or equivalent leadership role in fast‑paced, high‑volume retail environments.
  • Demonstrable leadership with strong business acumen and a track record of developing and motivating teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deliver constructive feedback and foster open dialogue.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by store operations.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks required by the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds and applying product to clients as needed.
