Role & Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations alongside the Store Manager to deliver a seamless client experience while driving sales, conversion and profitability.
• Coach, motivate and develop store team members through real-time feedback, performance appraisals and tailored mentorship to meet individual and store targets.
• Recruit, hire and onboard new talent to build a diverse, high-performing team aligned with Sephora’s service standards.
• Ensure visual merchandising, inventory presentation and store standards are maintained to brand guidelines and compliance requirements.
• Resolve client concerns with professionalism, promote loyalty program engagement and deliver personalized service to drive retention and lifetime value.
• Optimize staffing and inventory resources to respond to business needs and maximize store productivity in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success as an assistant store manager or equivalent leadership role in high-volume retail.
• Proven ability to recruit, inspire and develop teams to achieve sales and customer service objectives.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; skilled at delivering constructive feedback and fostering open dialogue.
• Committed to coaching and continuous development, with a track record of improving individual and team performance.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays and ability to perform physical tasks required in retail (lift up to 50 pounds; stand and walk for entire shift).
• Ability to handle and apply beauty products to clients (with or without accommodation).

Skills

Experience

Proven track record in assistant store management within fast-paced, high-volume retail settings, including experience recruiting and developing sales teams, managing store KPIs and delivering outstanding client service.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 63,100 to USD 77,350 per annum.
