Role & Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day store operations alongside the Store Manager to ensure seamless execution of sales, merchandising, and service standards.
- Lead, coach and develop store associates through real-time coaching, performance appraisals and targeted development plans to elevate team capability and engagement.
- Recruit, onboard and retain diverse talent to build a high-performing team aligned with Sephora’s service culture.
- Drive client experience initiatives to maximize loyalty, personalized service, and repeat business while resolving customer concerns with discretion and professionalism.
- Manage operational excellence including visual merchandising, inventory optimization, compliance with policies and brand standards, and staffing allocation to meet business targets.
Qualifications
- Proven success in assistant store management or equivalent supervisory retail role within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and business acumen with a track record of coaching teams to exceed sales and service objectives.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deliver constructive feedback and foster an inclusive team culture.
- Commitment to coaching and employee development, with experience conducting performance reviews and creating individual development plans.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with retail operations.
Experience
Several years of progressively responsible retail supervisory experience, preferably as an assistant store manager in high-traffic beauty, cosmetics, or specialty retail environments, with demonstrated results in team leadership, sales growth and operational management.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or a bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 75,700 to USD 92,750 per annum.
