Role & Responsibilities

  • Support daily store operations to ensure seamless client experiences while achieving sales and profitability targets.
  • Lead, coach and develop store associates to drive performance, engagement and professional growth.
  • Recruit, hire and onboard new team members to build a diverse, high-performing workforce aligned to Sephora’s service standards.
  • Deliver real-time coaching, conduct performance appraisals and provide actionable feedback to maximise team capability.
  • Manage inventory, staffing and merchandising to optimise resources and respond to changing priorities and seasonal demand.
  • Maintain visual and operational excellence across the store, ensuring compliance with brand standards, policies and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Resolve client concerns with professionalism and promote loyalty programs and personalised experiences to increase retention.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in an assistant store manager or comparable retail leadership role within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, inspire and develop teams while delivering measurable business results.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building trust across peers and clients.
  • Passion for coaching and talent development, including delivering constructive feedback and mentoring.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds; able to handle and apply product to clients.

Experience
