Sephora is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its West Grove store in McKinney, Texas. The permanent, full-time, on-site role partners with the Store Manager to lead operations, develop the team, and elevate client experiences; the annual base salary range is $66,200–$81,050, with actual pay dependent on qualifications, experience, skills, education, credentials, business factors, and geographic location. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Role & Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations, deliver exceptional client experiences, and drive sales and profitability in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead, coach, inspire, and empower the team to exceed performance expectations, fostering development and accountability.
• Attract, hire, and onboard talent to build a diverse, inclusive team that reflects Sephora’s values and delivers signature service.
• Promote continuous learning through real-time coaching, actionable feedback, and ongoing support.
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide timely feedback and mentorship to support team members’ development and engagement.
• Deliver outstanding client service, resolve concerns, and encourage engagement through loyalty programs and personalized experiences.
• Maintain an immaculate, visually inspiring store and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and brand guidelines.
• Optimize inventory and staffing resources, adapting to changing priorities and opportunities to drive results.
• Meet availability requirements that include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds; bend and stretch to stock shelves; stand and walk the sales floor for an entire shift; work in a fragrance-filled environment; and handle and apply products to clients, with or without accommodation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success as a retail assistant manager in fast-paced, high-volume environments, driving results and elevating team performance through hands-on leadership.
• Strong leadership and business acumen, including the ability to recruit, inspire, and develop talent to deliver results and foster a collaborative atmosphere.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a record of building trust, clarity, and enthusiasm across teams and clients; able to deliver constructive feedback and facilitate open dialogue.
• Commitment to coaching and development through tailored mentorship, real-time coaching, and actionable feedback that cultivates learning and accountability.
• Experience creating memorable, personalized client experiences that build loyalty while balancing operational priorities and driving business growth.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 66,200 to USD 81,050 per annum.
