Role & Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations alongside the Store Manager to deliver consistent, high‑quality client experiences while meeting sales and profitability targets.
• Lead, coach and develop store talent through real‑time coaching, structured feedback and performance appraisals to raise individual and team performance.
• Recruit, onboard and retain a diverse, inclusive team that embodies brand standards and delivers signature Sephora service.
• Drive client engagement and loyalty through personalized service, product demonstrations and effective use of loyalty programs.
• Ensure operational excellence by maintaining visual merchandising standards, store cleanliness, compliance with policies and loss prevention procedures.
• Optimize inventory levels and staffing resources to respond to demand fluctuations and maximize sales opportunities.
• Resolve client concerns professionally and expediently, escalating when appropriate to protect the client relationship and brand reputation.

Qualifications

• Proven success in an assistant store manager or similar retail leadership role in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Demonstrable leadership capability with experience recruiting, coaching and developing retail teams to achieve commercial objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deliver constructive feedback and build trust across diverse teams.
• Client‑centric mindset with a track record of creating personalized experiences that increase loyalty and drive sales.
• Willingness and ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by store operations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks required by the role (lift and carry up to 50 pounds; stand and walk the sales floor for entire shifts; handle and apply beauty products).

Experience

Demonstrated track record as an assistant store manager or comparable retail leadership role in a busy, customer‑facing environment, consistently achieving sales targets and improving team performance.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary coursework or degree in business, retail management or a related field preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 60,100 to USD 73,600 per annum.
