Sephora seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Lahaina, HI — full-time, salaried role overseeing store operations, team leadership and client experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support daily store operations and ensure a consistently elevated client experience while driving sales and profitability.
- Lead, coach and develop store teams through real-time feedback, performance appraisals and individualised mentoring.
- Recruit, onboard and retain diverse top talent aligned with Sephora’s service standards and cultural values.
- Own client satisfaction by resolving concerns, promoting loyalty programs and delivering personalised service.
- Maintain visual and operational excellence by adhering to brand guidelines, merchandising standards and compliance requirements.
- Optimise inventory and staffing resources to meet demand, adapt to shifting priorities and drive store growth.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager on strategic initiatives and execute local store plans, promotions and events.
Qualifications
- Proven success in an assistant store manager or senior team lead role within fast-paced, high-volume retail environments.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, inspire and develop teams to meet commercial and service objectives.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a track record of delivering constructive feedback.
- Strong client-centric orientation with experience building personalised client journeys and loyalty.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the role: lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for entire shifts, work in a fragrance-filled environment, and apply products to clients (with or without accommodation).
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Proven track record as an assistant store manager, retail supervisor, or senior sales lead in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment, with demonstrable results in team development and sales performance.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or a related field preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 66,200 to USD 81,050 per annum.
