Sephora Greenwood, IN is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations, team development and client experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support daily store operations to ensure a seamless client experience while meeting sales and profitability targets.
- Lead, coach and develop the store team to exceed individual and store performance objectives and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture.
- Recruit, onboard and retain diverse talent aligned with Sephora’s values and service standards.
- Deliver real-time coaching, actionable feedback and formal performance appraisals to drive employee development and engagement.
- Resolve client concerns professionally and proactively to maintain high satisfaction and loyalty through personalised service and loyalty program engagement.
- Maintain visual merchandising, store presentation and operational compliance with brand standards and policies.
- Optimize inventory allocation and staffing resources to respond to sales trends and operational needs in a fast-paced retail environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years of experience in assistant store management or comparable retail leadership roles in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
- Proven ability to recruit, inspire and develop retail teams while driving sales and operational KPIs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills with a demonstrable history of building trust across teams and clients.
- Demonstrated commitment to coaching and continuous learning, with experience delivering actionable feedback and career development guidance.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required; ability to perform physical job demands (lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for full shifts, bend/stretch to stock).

Experience
Minimum three years in assistant store management or equivalent supervisory retail experience, preferably within beauty, cosmetics, or a high-volume specialty retail environment, with a track record of driving sales and developing teams.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, hospitality or a related field preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 60,100 to USD 73,600 per annum.
