Role & Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations alongside the Store Manager to deliver exceptional client experiences while achieving sales and profitability targets.
• Lead, coach, and empower the store team to exceed performance goals, foster accountability, and cultivate professional growth.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard diverse talent that embodies Sephora’s service standards and values.
• Deliver real-time coaching and ongoing development to maximize associate potential and engagement.
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide actionable feedback and mentorship to support career progression.
• Drive client satisfaction through personalized service, loyalty program engagement, and effective resolution of client concerns.
• Maintain visual merchandising, store presentation, and operational compliance with brand standards and policies.
• Optimize inventory allocation and staffing resources to meet demand in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in assistant store management or equivalent retail leadership in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and inspire retail teams to achieve business objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a track record of building trust and facilitating open dialogue.
• Passion for coaching and employee development, with experience delivering constructive feedback and mentoring.
• Client-centric orientation with experience creating personalized experiences that drive loyalty and sales.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and ability to perform physical tasks (lift up to 50 pounds, stand for entire shifts, work in fragrance-filled environments).

Experience

Demonstrated success as an assistant store manager or equivalent retail leader in fast-paced, high-volume environments, with a record of driving sales, developing teams, and delivering excellent client experiences.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or a degree in business, retail management, or a related field preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 63,100 to USD 77,350 per annum.
