Role & Responsibilities

  • Support daily store operations alongside the Store Manager to deliver exceptional client experiences while meeting sales and profitability objectives.
  • Lead, coach and develop the in-store team through real-time feedback, performance appraisals and targeted learning to improve engagement and results.
  • Recruit, onboard and retain diverse talent that embodies Sephora’s service standards and brand values.
  • Drive client engagement through personalized service, loyalty program activation and resolution of client concerns to maximize satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure operational excellence including visual merchandising, store standards, compliance with policies and inventory accuracy.
  • Optimize staffing and inventory resources to adapt to shifting priorities and drive store growth in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in an assistant store manager or equivalent leadership role within high-volume retail environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach and develop teams to meet sales and performance targets.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to give constructive feedback and foster an inclusive team culture.
  • Client-centric mindset with a track record of delivering personalized experiences that drive loyalty and business growth.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required; ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and apply product to clients in a fragrance-filled environment.
