Role & Responsibilities
- Support daily store operations alongside the Store Manager to deliver exceptional client experiences while achieving sales and profitability targets.
- Lead, coach and develop the store team through real-time feedback, formal performance appraisals and ongoing mentorship to elevate individual and store performance.
- Attract, hire and onboard diverse talent that reflects Sephora’s values and service standards.
- Drive client engagement and loyalty through personalized service, effective use of loyalty programs and proactive relationship-building.
- Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation standards to ensure an inspiring, immaculate retail environment.
- Resolve client concerns tactfully and efficiently, safeguarding client satisfaction and brand reputation.
- Optimize inventory allocation and staffing resources to respond to business demand and maximize sales opportunities.
- Ensure operational compliance with company policies, procedures and loss-prevention practices.
Qualifications
- Proven success in an assistant store manager or equivalent leadership role within fast-paced, high-volume retail (beauty or specialty retail preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership and business acumen with the ability to recruit, inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to deliver constructive feedback and foster open dialogue.
- Passion for coaching and employee development, with a commitment to continuous learning and accountability.
- Client-centric mindset with track record of creating personalized experiences that drive loyalty and sales.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by store schedule.
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for entire shifts, bend/stretch to stock shelves, and handle/apply product to clients (with or without accommodation).

Experience
Proven experience as an assistant store manager (or comparable supervisory retail role) in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with demonstrable results in sales growth and team development; beauty retail background preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or a degree in business, retail management or a related field preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 63,100 to USD 77,350 per annum.
