Sephora Assistant Store Manager — Canberra Centre, Australia. Full-time permanent role with AUD 69,680 base + commission and bonus.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in leading daily store operations to deliver outstanding client experiences and achieve sales targets.
- Use sales and operational data to inform decisions, develop local strategies with the Store and District Manager, and drive business growth and conversion.
- Embed and drive a selling culture to meet KPIs, including sales conversion, shrinkage control and profitability metrics.
- Coach, develop and uplift team capability; identify and progress internal talent through feedback, training and performance management.
- Coordinate and support store events, brand activations, training sessions and visual merchandising changes to maintain brand standards and store presentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years' relevant retail experience, with at least 2–3+ years in store line management or multi-site supervisory roles.
- Proven track record in driving sales and achieving KPI targets within a high-volume retail environment.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop and retain retail talent and to lead a diverse, client-facing team.
- Strong organisational and analytical capability, including experience with forecasting, inventory/shrinkage monitoring and P&L awareness.
- Flexible availability to work key trading times including evenings, late-night trading and weekends.

Experience
At least five years of retail experience, including a minimum of 2–3 years in store line management or multi-site supervisory roles within fast-paced or high-volume retail environments.
Education
Secondary school completion (high school) or equivalent; tertiary qualification in business, retail management or a related discipline is preferred but not required.

The successful candidate will be located in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is AUD 69,680 per annum.
