Sephora Assistant Store Manager — Canberra Centre, Australia. Full-time permanent role with AUD 69,680 base + commission and bonus.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in leading daily store operations to deliver outstanding client experiences and achieve sales targets.
  • Use sales and operational data to inform decisions, develop local strategies with the Store and District Manager, and drive business growth and conversion.
  • Embed and drive a selling culture to meet KPIs, including sales conversion, shrinkage control and profitability metrics.
  • Coach, develop and uplift team capability; identify and progress internal talent through feedback, training and performance management.
  • Coordinate and support store events, brand activations, training sessions and visual merchandising changes to maintain brand standards and store presentation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years' relevant retail experience, with at least 2–3+ years in store line management or multi-site supervisory roles.
  • Proven track record in driving sales and achieving KPI targets within a high-volume retail environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop and retain retail talent and to lead a diverse, client-facing team.
  • Strong organisational and analytical capability, including experience with forecasting, inventory/shrinkage monitoring and P&L awareness.
  • Flexible availability to work key trading times including evenings, late-night trading and weekends.

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is AUD 69,680 per annum.
