Role & Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day store operations alongside the Store Manager to deliver exceptional client experiences while achieving sales and profitability targets.
- Coach, motivate and develop store associates through real-time feedback, performance appraisals and tailored learning plans to drive individual and team growth.
- Lead recruiting, hiring and onboarding activities to build and retain a diverse, high-performing team aligned with brand standards.
- Drive sales performance by executing clienteling strategies, loyalty engagement and personalized service to deepen client relationships and increase retention.
- Ensure operational excellence by maintaining visual merchandising standards, a pristine store environment and compliance with company policies and loss-prevention procedures.
- Optimize staffing and inventory resources to respond to changing business priorities and peak trading periods.
- Resolve client concerns skillfully and promptly to uphold brand reputation and maximize client satisfaction.
- Manage administrative responsibilities for the store, including scheduling, payroll oversight and basic P&L awareness as delegated.
Qualifications
- Proven success in an assistant store manager or comparable retail leadership role within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach and develop talent with measurable results in team performance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of delivering constructive feedback and building trust across teams and clients.
- Client-centric mindset with experience driving personalized service and loyalty program engagement.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by retail scheduling.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing; must be able to handle and apply beauty products to clients (with or without accommodation).
