Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in day-to-day leadership to deliver an exceptional client experience and achieve sales targets.
  • Use sales and operational data to inform decisions, develop local growth strategies and improve conversion rates.
  • Drive a high-performance selling culture by coaching, motivating and developing the sales team to meet KPIs.
  • Manage operational responsibilities including forecasting, shrinkage control, P&L oversight and inventory integrity.
  • Implement store initiatives—brand events, training programs and visual merchandising changes—to ensure brand standards and store presentation.
  • Identify and nurture internal talent through performance reviews, coaching and structured development plans.
  • Maintain a customer-centric environment, resolving client issues and ensuring consistent, elevated in-store service.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3+ years' experience in retail/store line management, preferably within large-format or multi-site operations.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and meeting KPIs in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong organisational and analytical capability with experience in sales forecasting and basic P&L monitoring.
  • Hands-on leadership style with demonstrated ability to coach, motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Availability for flexible roster including weekends, late nights and peak trading periods.

Experience

Secondary school completion required; tertiary qualification in business, retail management or a related discipline is advantageous but not mandatory.
