Sephora seeks an experienced retail leader to serve as Assistant Store Manager at its flagship location in The Domain, Austin. This full-time, salaried role offers the opportunity to support store operations, lead and develop a diverse team, and deliver exceptional client experiences while driving sales and profitability. Role & Responsibilities
- Support store operations and client experience in collaboration with the Store Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations, exceptional client service, and profitability in a fast-paced environment
- Lead, coach, inspire, and empower the store team to exceed performance expectations while fostering growth, development, and accountability
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new talent to build a diverse and inclusive team that embodies Sephora's values and delivers signature service
- Deliver real-time coaching, actionable feedback, and ongoing support to maximize team members' potential and professional development
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide mentorship to support each team member's career journey and engagement
- Deliver outstanding client service, skillfully resolve concerns, and actively drive engagement through loyalty programs and personalized experiences
- Maintain Sephora's operational excellence standards by upholding a visually inspiring, immaculate store environment and ensuring compliance with all policies and brand guidelines
- Optimize inventory and staffing resources, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and opportunities to drive results and growth

- Demonstrated success as a retail assistant manager in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Exceptional leadership and business acumen with proven ability to recruit, inspire, and develop top talent
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build trust and facilitate open dialogue

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend and stretch to stock shelves, stand and walk the sales floor for entire shifts
