Sephora Assistant Store Manager

Role & Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to ensure exceptional client experiences while meeting sales and profitability targets.
• Coach, mentor and develop the store team through real‑time feedback, formal appraisals and targeted learning initiatives.
• Recruit, onboard and retain diverse retail talent that reflects the brand’s service standards and values.
• Drive client engagement and loyalty through personalized clienteling, effective resolution of concerns, and promotion of loyalty programs.
• Maintain operational excellence including visual merchandising, store presentation, compliance with policies, and loss prevention.
• Optimize inventory and workforce deployment to respond to traffic patterns and business opportunities in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in an assistant store manager or comparable retail leadership role in high‑volume environments.
• Proven capability to recruit, develop and motivate teams to achieve commercial and service objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of delivering constructive feedback and building team trust.
• Commitment to coaching and career development with a hands‑on leadership style.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to perform physical retail duties (lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk entire shift, apply products to clients).

Experience

Proven retail leadership experience, ideally with several years of progressive responsibility and prior experience as an assistant store manager or similar role in a fast‑paced, high‑volume retail environment (typically 2+ years in a managerial capacity).

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or a related field preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 66,200 to USD 81,050 per annum.
