Role & Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations alongside the Store Manager to ensure operational excellence, visual standards and compliance with brand policies.
• Lead, coach and develop store teams through real-time feedback, structured performance appraisals and targeted learning to drive sales and guest satisfaction.
• Recruit, interview, onboard and retain diverse talent to build a high-performing team aligned with Sephora’s client service standards.
• Drive client engagement and loyalty through personalized service, product demonstrations and proactive promotion of loyalty programs.
• Optimize inventory and staffing resources to meet sales targets, control shrinkage and adapt to peak trading periods.
• Manage guest experience issues, resolve concerns skillfully and ensure a consistently immaculate, visually inspiring retail environment.
• Execute merchandising, product presentation and promotional initiatives to maximize conversion and average transaction value.

Qualifications

• Proven success in assistant store management or equivalent retail leadership in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrable leadership and business acumen with experience recruiting, developing and motivating teams to exceed performance goals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deliver constructive feedback and build trust across teams and clients.
• Passion for coaching and talent development with a track record of mentoring associates and improving performance.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays; able to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and applying products to clients.

Experience

Demonstrated track record as an assistant store manager or comparable retail leader in fast-paced, high-volume stores, with experience driving sales, developing teams and maintaining operational standards.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 60,100 to USD 73,600 per annum.
