Sephora seeks an Assistant Store Manager for its Briarwood Mall location in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This permanent, full-time leadership role combines operational oversight, team development, and client experience enhancement in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Store Manager to drive sales and profitability, recruit and mentor diverse talent, and maintain Sephora's standards of excellence across all store operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support Store Manager in daily operations and ensure exceptional client experiences while driving sales and profitability
  • Lead, coach, inspire and empower retail associates to exceed performance goals and foster professional growth and accountability
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members, building diverse and inclusive teams aligned with Sephora values
  • Deliver real-time coaching, actionable feedback, and mentorship to maximize associate potential and engagement
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback to support team member career development
  • Consistently deliver outstanding client service, resolve concerns skillfully, and drive engagement through loyalty programs and personalized experiences
  • Maintain visually inspiring, immaculate store environment and ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and brand guidelines
