Sephora seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Alhambra, CA to lead store operations, develop talent, and drive exceptional client experiences in this full-time leadership role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support store operations and deliver exceptional client experiences while driving sales, profitability, and efficiency in collaboration with the Store Manager
- Lead, coach, inspire, and empower the store team to exceed performance expectations and foster a culture of growth, development, and accountability
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and cultivate a diverse, inclusive team that embodies Sephora's values and delivers signature service
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide real-time, actionable feedback and mentorship to support team members' career development and engagement

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of assistant store management experience in fast-paced, high-volume retail environments
- Demonstrated success driving results and elevating team performance through hands-on leadership
- Strong recruitment, talent development, and team-building capabilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build trust and facilitate open dialogue
- Genuine commitment to coaching, mentorship, and developing team members
- Client-centric mindset with proven ability to create memorable, personalized experiences that build loyalty
- Ability to balance operational priorities with growth-oriented business objectives
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend and stretch to stock shelves, stand and walk the sales floor for extended periods, and work in a fragrance-filled environment
