Role & Responsibilities

  • Support daily store operations alongside the Store Manager to deliver exceptional client experiences while meeting sales and profitability targets.
  • Coach, mentor and develop store associates through real-time feedback, formal performance appraisals and tailored learning plans.
  • Recruit, onboard and retain diverse talent that embodies Sephora’s service standards and brand values.
  • Drive client engagement and loyalty through personalized service, product recommendations and active promotion of loyalty programs.
  • Maintain operational excellence by enforcing loss-prevention, compliance and visual merchandising standards to ensure an immaculate, on-brand environment.
  • Optimize inventory and staffing resources to respond to demand fluctuations and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Resolve client concerns with professionalism and expediency to protect the brand experience and preserve client relationships.
  • Contribute to store-level planning and execution of marketing, promotional and merchandising initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an assistant store manager or equivalent retail leadership role in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach and develop sales teams to achieve performance objectives.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving sales, conversion and client retention.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; adept at delivering constructive feedback and building trust across teams.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by retail operations.
  • Ability to perform physical duties of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds and applying product to clients when necessary.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 60,100 to USD 73,600 per annum.
