Assistant Planner at Sephora Canada, Toronto – Inventory planning role offering CAD $66,000–$74,000 plus bonus and hybrid work.
Role & Responsibilities
- Review and action in-stocks to maintain healthy inventory positions for core and newness across SKU and store levels
- Track core and newness purchase orders to ensure timely receipt of inventory at all Canadian distribution centers and retail stores
- Manage regular replenishment forecasts and orders within the receive-to-budget allocation
- Analyze newness and launch performance, seasonality trends, and adjust forecasts and inventory levels accordingly
- Create manual purchase orders for newness launches, new store openings, and promotional support as needed
- Oversee inventory allocations with analytical insights to support sales performance optimization
- Set up newness in Blue Yonder (JDA) for accurate purchasing and allocation
- Generate and validate reports on vendor and brand fill rates, lead time accuracy, and fill rate visibility
- Conduct newness hindsight analysis and key initiatives assessment on a seasonal basis
- Communicate inventory risks and late-launch status to planners and merchandising leadership
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in inventory planning and/or merchandising
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Analytical problem-solving capability
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Prior retail experience (asset)
