Sephora Canada seeks an Assistant Planner in Toronto (hybrid) to manage forecasting, replenishment and Blue Yonder configuration for newness and core assortments.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Monitor SKU‑level in‑stocks and action replenishment to maintain healthy inventory positions for core and newness assortments.
  • Collaborate with the Planning Manager and brand partners to set weeks‑of‑supply (WOS) targets, confirm ETAs for back‑in‑stock and communicate risks to stakeholders.
  • Track purchase orders and close POs to ensure inventory is received at Canadian distribution centres and stores on schedule.
  • Manage regular replenishment forecasts and place orders within the open‑to‑buy (OTB) receipt budget.
  • Perform allocations supported by analytical insight to optimise sales performance and fill rates.
  • Create manual purchase orders for new launches, new store openings or ad‑hoc promotional support as required.
  • Configure newness in Blue Yonder (JDA) to ensure accurate purchasing and allocation.
  • Produce vendor/brand fill‑rate and lead‑time accuracy reports; conduct seasonal hindsight analysis for newness and key initiatives.
  • Recommend assortment productivity actions (presentation quantities, discontinuations, development opportunities) in partnership with merchandising.
  • Support cross‑functional projects and escalate late or at‑risk launches to planning and merchant teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory planning, replenishment or merchandising.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation capability.
  • Prior retail experience is an asset.

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 66,500 to CAD 74,300 per annum.
