Sephora — Internship: Assistant Planner / Procurement (Subcontracting) in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. 6-month internship supporting launch, supplier follow-up and KPI tracking.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Planner/Procurement lead on product launch activities for both hard and soft launches: set production cadences and manage production planning according to supplier capacities (catalogue launches, samples, one-shot items).
- Maintain and improve database parameters: nomenclatures (BOMs), supply parameters, chaining/substitution dates to ensure data reliability for planning.
- Manage weekly catalogue follow-up: monitor supplier delays, analyse impacts, and implement corrective action plans to safeguard supply continuity.
- Secure and validate information from subcontractors (timing and quantities) for transmission to the Supply Planning team; liaise closely with subcontractors to deepen understanding of their production processes and tools.
- Handle supplier-related issues at receipt (warehouse) and challenge suppliers to improve on-time delivery and quality.
- Support end-of-life product processes: place final supplier orders to secure last sales while minimising obsolescence, and monitor stock landing during product phase-out.
- Track and report key KPIs including stock level and coverage, obsolescence/depreciation, and On Time/In Full (OTIF) performance.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a higher-education programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering, operations management, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical capability and clear, proactive communication skills.
- Interest in cross-functional collaboration, particularly with Operations and Supply Planning teams.
- Motivation to develop practical supply chain expertise and learn subcontractor production processes.

Experience
Beginner — suitable for students or recent graduates. No extensive prior professional experience required; previous internships in supply chain, procurement or operations are advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master’s programme in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering, business or a related discipline.
