Sephora Canada seeks Assistant Manager, Marketing Production (12-month contract) in Toronto to lead retail graphics and fixture production across Canadian stores.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead production and execution of fixture graphics and custom merchandisers, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, timeliness, and budget adherence
- Partner with internal stakeholders to provide clear timelines, competitive quotes, material recommendations, and sizing specifications for all production initiatives
- Own end-to-end vendor management, including sourcing, competitive bidding, cost negotiation, and partner selection to ensure quality and seamless delivery
- Apply production design expertise to uphold quality control standards and ensure excellence across prototypes and finished goods
- Monitor vendor performance against KPIs, maintain strong partner relationships, and efficiently resolve store-related tickets and issues
- Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize projects, align on timelines, and ensure smooth execution across all production and marketing initiatives
- Maintain comprehensive records of fixtures, graphics, and specifications to support knowledge sharing and institutional memory
- Provide accurate financial forecasts and month-end budget inputs to drive cost-effective production planning and execution
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies while continuously refining workflow processes
- Drive innovation through research and development of new materials, technologies, and manufacturing solutions to enhance in-store experiences
- Support in-store visual display setups and provide flexible support to address emerging business needs and priorities
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in project management, production, or visual merchandising within advertising or marketing environments
- University degree, college diploma, or equivalent professional training
- Demonstrated excellence in vendor management and sourcing negotiations
- Proficiency with production planning tools and budget forecasting
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality delivery
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
- Outstanding organizational and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments
- Collaborative mindset with positive, solution-oriented approach to challenges
- Familiarity with Smartsheet, Adobe Creative Suite, Ziflow, or similar project management platforms

Experience
4+ years of professional experience in project management, production coordination, or visual merchandising within advertising, marketing, or retail environments.
Education
University degree, college diploma, or equivalent professional training in a relevant discipline.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 71,000 to CAD 85,000 per annum.
