Sephora Canada seeks Assistant Manager, Marketing Production (12-month contract) in Toronto to lead retail graphics and fixture production across Canadian stores.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead production and execution of fixture graphics and custom merchandisers, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, timeliness, and budget adherence
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to provide clear timelines, competitive quotes, material recommendations, and sizing specifications for all production initiatives
  • Own end-to-end vendor management, including sourcing, competitive bidding, cost negotiation, and partner selection to ensure quality and seamless delivery
  • Apply production design expertise to uphold quality control standards and ensure excellence across prototypes and finished goods
  • Monitor vendor performance against KPIs, maintain strong partner relationships, and efficiently resolve store-related tickets and issues
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize projects, align on timelines, and ensure smooth execution across all production and marketing initiatives
  • Maintain comprehensive records of fixtures, graphics, and specifications to support knowledge sharing and institutional memory
  • Provide accurate financial forecasts and month-end budget inputs to drive cost-effective production planning and execution
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies while continuously refining workflow processes
  • Drive innovation through research and development of new materials, technologies, and manufacturing solutions to enhance in-store experiences
  • Support in-store visual display setups and provide flexible support to address emerging business needs and priorities

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in project management, production, or visual merchandising within advertising or marketing environments
  • University degree, college diploma, or equivalent professional training
  • Demonstrated excellence in vendor management and sourcing negotiations
  • Proficiency with production planning tools and budget forecasting
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality delivery
  • Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
  • Outstanding organizational and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments
  • Collaborative mindset with positive, solution-oriented approach to challenges
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet, Adobe Creative Suite, Ziflow, or similar project management platforms

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 71,000 to CAD 85,000 per annum.
