Role & Responsibilities
- Plan, develop and execute social and media activations for all marketing projects (brand animation, new launches, mono-brand pushes, SEB, SEPHORIA) to elevate Sephora China’s trend-led positioning.
- Define and implement data-driven media investment strategies to improve brand visibility, consumer engagement and omnichannel footfall (drive online traffic and in‑store visits).
- Own content strategy and publishing cadence for Sephora‑owned accounts across WeChat, RED (Xiaohongshu), Douyin and Weibo; grow follower base through high‑quality editorial and commercial content.
- Collaborate closely with E‑commerce teams on traffic tracking and analysis to secure stable organic performance for the DRAGON mini program and other commerce touchpoints.
- Co‑ordinate cross‑functional initiatives with PR, Retail and Merchandising to manage social listening, crisis response, store listings (Meituan & Dazhong) and mono‑brand content releases.
- Manage agency partners: set KPIs, monitor performance, optimise media efficiency and establish execution procedures for campaigns.
- Design performance reporting frameworks and channel KPIs to evaluate and analyse channel efficiency and ROI.
- Scout, recommend and pilot new digital tools, GEO/LBS technologies and platform functionalities to keep online activity innovative and effective.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in digital/media roles within multinational organisations, the beauty sector or top media agencies.
- Bachelor’s degree; Communications, Journalism or Marketing preferred.
- Established media and social contacts in the Chinese market.
- Native Chinese speaker with strong written and spoken English proficiency.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience
At least four years of progressive digital or media experience in a multinational company, beauty retailer, or top-tier media agency, including ownership of social campaigns, agency oversight and performance optimisation in the Chinese market.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required; major in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field preferred.
