Sephora Collection internship: Assistant Demand Planner role in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. Forecast sales, manage inventory, and support supply chain operations starting January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Determine and correct sales forecasts on a weekly basis by analyzing factors impacting sales such as events and economic context
- Verify forecast relevance against sales trends and seasonality patterns
- Analyze forecast accuracy and identify contributing factors to optimize sales forecasting models and methodologies
- Validate historical data integrity in the system and record exceptional sales data
- Develop strategy for managing sales forecasts of discontinued catalog items or overstocked articles
- Analyze the impact of promotional campaigns on sales and determine stock requirements for planned promotional events
- Manage launches and one-shot articles in the forecasting tool
- Analyze performance of new and limited-edition articles across different markets and adapt replenishment to actual demand
- Manage stock-out situations for new product launches
- Participate in and lead coordination meetings with local Supply Chain teams regarding market information, sales performance, and strategic initiatives
- Align sales forecasts with purchasing budgets determined by the Finance department and simulate demand scenarios
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the forecasting process and overall supply chain efficiency
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree (M1/M2) in Business School with Supply Chain specialization
- Advanced proficiency in English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Curious mindset with strong affinity for data, supply chain, and IT
- Rigorous, reactive, and well-organized approach to work
