Sephora hiring Assistant Corner Manager in Stuttgart, Germany. Lead beauty retail team, manage staff and sales performance. Full-time position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop retail team members through coaching, performance appraisals, and inductions, ensuring alignment with Sephora DNA
- Create daily staff schedules and manage zoning to optimize sales floor coverage and customer experience
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while analyzing key commercial metrics (MS, IPT, AVB, number of services) and deriving targeted sales activities
- Ensure excellence in customer service by conducting morning briefings, shift handovers, and organizing customer engagement activities such as beauty classes and weekend looks
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and implement promotional updates across all sales categories
- Execute complete merchandise management operations including inventory counts, receiving, storage, booking, returns, and tester management
- Monitor and report on operational KPIs including customer satisfaction, staff productivity, stock availability, compliance with routines, and employee turnover
- Prepare corner for opening and closing, ensuring order, cleanliness, and maintenance of the sales environment
- Track absence reports, manage staff sickness records, and deputize for the Corner Manager during absences
Qualifications
- 2–3 years' proven experience in retail, preferably prestige beauty or Sephora environment
- Demonstrated team leadership and management experience with empathetic coaching style
- Strong customer-focused and business-driven mindset
- Structured work ethic with hands-on presence on sales floor
- Fluent English and native-level proficiency in German
- Basic SAP and Excel competency
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams in a fast-paced retail setting
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years in retail, preferably beauty sector. Initial management and team leadership experience with an empathetic management style is required. Demonstrated comfort engaging with customers, developing employees, and applying analytical, commercial working methods.
