Sephora in Copenhagen seeks an Assistant Corner Manager (temporary, full-time) for Magasin Kongens Nytorv to lead operations and retail performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Corner Manager in all daily operations and act as a visible role model of the Sephora Attitude and DNA on the sales floor.
- Lead, coach and develop the sales team; create daily staff deployment plans and coordinate zoning to ensure optimal coverage and productivity.
- Drive commercial performance by analysing retail KPIs (IPT, AVB, conversion rate, market share) and implementing targeted sales activities to increase revenue and sell‑through.
- Ensure flawless visual merchandising standards and timely implementation of updates, brand animations and seasonal rollouts; maintain order and cleanliness on the floor.
- Deliver an exceptional client experience through team alignment on service standards and proactive client engagement.
- Manage end-to-end goods handling: receipt, storage, replenishment, tester management, returns and write-offs; prepare and execute inventories to secure stock availability.
- Foster constructive relationships with retail partners and perform additional operational tasks as required to support the Corner's daily business.
Qualifications
- Completed studies or vocational training, ideally in retail or a related field.
- Minimum 4–5 years of retail experience, preferably within the beauty sector.
- Demonstrable prior management and team‑leadership experience with an empathetic and people‑oriented style.
- Customer-focused and business-driven mindset with strong communication and delegation skills.
- Structured work ethic, positive attitude and ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Basic knowledge of SAP and Excel is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English and the local/native language (Danish).

Experience
At least 4–5 years of hands-on retail experience, preferably in beauty, with documented team leadership and people development responsibilities.
Education
Completed studies or completed vocational training, ideally in retail.
