Sephora Shanghai is hiring an Assistant Category Replenishment Manager to manage omni‑channel inventory, supplier performance and KPI reporting.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Category Replenishment Manager to deliver end‑to‑end inventory KPIs and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Translate category merchandising strategies into executable replenishment and ordering plans across product lifecycle stages (new/rollout, on‑shelf, drop).
  • Plan and execute inventory for promotions and campaigns; manage purchase budgets and ordering for assigned business lines.
  • Coordinate omni‑channel inventory to secure availability while optimising stock levels and mitigating obsolescence risk.
  • Monitor and maintain supplier master data and performance scorecards; follow up on lead times, MOQs and delivery schedules; escalate supply interruptions as required.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly/monthly KPI reports and consolidated insights to stakeholders; highlight risks and recommended actions.
  • Support projects for continuous improvement: identify opportunities, track timelines and budgets, document actions, and manage risk escalation.
  • Capture operational pain points and liaise with digital/tech teams; prepare datasets, dashboards and support UAT/testing of new digital tools.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional alignment across supply chain, merchandising, finance and retail; coordinate meetings and follow‑up actions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in supply chain, inventory management or planning, preferably within retail or omni‑channel environments.
  • Practical knowledge of category inventory management and lifecycle planning (rollouts, on‑shelf replenishment, drops, promotions).
  • High proficiency in Excel and SQL; exposure to Power BI, Tableau or automation tools is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability with rigorous attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal English communication skills for cross‑functional stakeholder engagement.
  • Proactive, responsible and able to perform under pressure with a clear aspiration to grow into an independent manager role.
