Sephora seeks a Master's-level intern for a 6-month Assistant Category Manager role in Neuilly-sur-Seine, supporting skincare and haircare across Europe.
Role & Responsibilities
- Construct and maintain assortment strategies for exclusive Sephora brands across the European skincare and haircare categories
- Generate and analyze comprehensive sales reports, customer studies, and category performance metrics
- Support the launch coordinator throughout the new product development pipeline, including timeline management, form validation, pricing review, and deadline compliance
- Assist the Category Manager with new product launch estimations, merchandising strategy, and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to the annual marketing plan development across omnichannel touchpoints (trade, CRM, media, digital) and monitor implementation across European markets
- Manage promotional resources including samples, gift-with-purchase offers, and e-store bundles
- Collaborate on cross-category projects and multi-brand promotional activities
- Prepare key business meetings including Market Week presentations, activity reviews, and internal stakeholder presentations
- Monitor and report on skincare and haircare category trends and competitive landscape
Qualifications
- Master's degree (or in final year of studies) in Commerce, Marketing, or equivalent discipline
- Final-year university student or gap-year candidate
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical capabilities and data-driven mindset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Fluent in both French and English (minimum B2 level)
- Organized, rigorous, and proactive work approach

Final-year Master's student or gap-year candidate; minimal professional experience expected; category management, beauty retail, or merchandising internships are advantageous but not required.
