Sephora — Neuilly‑sur‑Seine: Assistant Category Manager, Care (Alternance). Work‑study role supporting category strategy, launches and reporting for France.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support category managers in the day‑to‑day management of exclusive and selective care brands across the France perimeter.
- Coordinate category projects including trade activations and in‑store animations in collaboration with commercial and store teams.
- Contribute to launch and activation plans for new product introductions and seasonal events (e.g., Mother’s Day, Christmas).
- Assist in assortment management: produce sales forecasts, participate in referencing decisions for newness and maintain the SKU mix.
- Prepare reporting and quantitative/qualitative analyses to monitor category performance and inform decision‑making.
- Prepare meeting materials and support brand meetings, internal presentations and communication with regional directors and stores via the internal platform (Inside).
Qualifications
- Enrolment in a university degree or business school programme with specialisation in marketing, commerce or equivalent.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with internal communication platforms (Inside) is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with brand and store stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail, organisation, autonomy and a proactive approach.
- Prior professional exposure (internship or first job) in a corporate or retail environment; interest in cosmetics is advantageous.

Early‑career candidate with at least one prior internship or initial professional experience; experience in retail, beauty or category support is a plus.
Education
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university programme or business school specialising in marketing or commerce.
