Sephora Canada is hiring an Asset Protection Team Lead in Winnipeg. Full-time district role focused on loss prevention, training and investigations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a district-level trainer and mentor for Loss Prevention Agents; support onboarding and ongoing development.
  • Monitor and analyse exception reports and cash variances to detect potential internal theft and control inventory shrinkage.
  • Coordinate and execute quarterly shoplifting blitzes and other operational loss-prevention initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly Market and Agent recaps to the District Loss Prevention Manager (DLPM).
  • Conduct Store Tours with store leadership, complete and communicate Store Tour Notes to SD, DLPM and DM.
  • Conduct OPEX evaluations and support hiring processes, scheduling approvals and performance assessments within the assigned district.
  • Act as witness in internal investigations where applicable and attend/present at district meetings in the absence of the DLPM.
  • Support inventory preparation for high-shrink stores and assist with multi-store district oversight and escalation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of loss prevention experience in a retail environment; experience supporting multiple stores or a district preferred.
  • Demonstrable leadership and coaching capabilities with the ability to train and develop staff.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and professional stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and undertake occasional overnight travel within the district.
  • Must be able to stand and walk the sales floor for an eight-hour shift and work in a fragrance-filled environment.
  • Compliance with current provincial or local licensing requirements where applicable.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of loss prevention experience in a retail environment; prior experience in a supervisory or multi-store support capacity is preferred.
