Sephora Asset Protection Team Lead in Ottawa: Lead loss prevention operations across multiple stores. CAD $30–$35/hr, full-time.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee loss prevention programs across assigned stores and conduct exception report reviews to detect internal activity
  • Train and develop Asset Protection Agents while conducting onboarding and OPEX evaluations
  • Investigate internal theft allegations, prepare witness documentation, and conduct interviews as required
  • Prepare weekly market and agent recaps for the District Loss Prevention Manager
  • Organize and execute quarterly shoplifting prevention initiatives and loss prevention blitzes
  • Conduct store tours with leadership teams, document findings, and present results to district and cluster stakeholders
  • Review and approve Agent schedules within assigned district and assist high-shrink locations with inventory preparation
  • Attend and present at district meetings and cluster training sessions in the absence of the DLPM
  • Maintain compliance with Sephora Loss Prevention standards and provincial licensing requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of Loss Prevention experience in a retail environment
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Valid provincial or local licensing as required for asset protection role
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays with occasional overnight travel
  • Ability to stand and walk sales floor for an 8-hour shift
  • Comfortable working in a fragrance-filled environment

Experience

Minimum 2 years of hands-on loss prevention experience in a retail environment, with demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate internal and external theft risks. Experience leading or mentoring retail teams is preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 30 to CAD 35 per hour.
