Sephora is hiring a full-time, permanent Asset Protection Supervisor for its Union Square store in New York. The role leads Asset Protection Partners, oversees shrink prevention, safety, compliance, investigations, and asset protection systems; the annual base salary is $75,000–$83,250, with bonus eligibility.
Role & Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, supervise, coach, and guide Asset Protection Partners across assigned locations; partner with store leaders to drive results and alignment.
- Implement asset protection plans to reduce shrink, focusing on high-risk departments; analyze results and adjust tactics to improve performance.
- Lead store programs focused on safety, profit protection, and shrink prevention, including deterrence and response training.
- Ensure adherence to asset protection and operational standards; investigate discrepancies, fraud, and misconduct; partner with the District Asset Protection Manager and Store Manager, and support prosecution when appropriate.
- Maintain the proper use of asset protection systems, including CCTV, alarms, and locks.
- Build relationships with retailers, industry groups, law enforcement, and mall and property teams.
- Consistently model inclusive leadership and Sephora values.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in asset protection or loss prevention, ideally across multiple locations.
- Experience leading teams and partnering with store leaders to drive results.
- Sound judgment under pressure and the ability to guide others in reducing loss.
- Discretion, ethical judgment, and working knowledge of retail criminal and civil law.
- Investigative interviewing experience; Wicklander-Zulawski or similar is preferred.
- Ability to apply policies and procedures clearly and consistently.
- Experience with asset protection tools, MS Office, and retail systems, including POS, inventory, and scheduling.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
