Sephora — New York (Times Square) seeks an Asset Protection Supervisor to lead loss prevention, safety and AP teams. Salary range: $75,000–$83,250.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop Asset Protection Partners across the Times Square store; recruit and provide day‑to‑day supervision to ensure alignment with store objectives.
- Design and implement asset protection plans targeting shrink reduction in high‑risk departments; analyze performance metrics and refine tactics accordingly.
- Direct store safety programs and deliver deterrence and response training to AP and store teams; serve as primary incident responder and escalation point.
- Conduct and oversee investigations into discrepancies, fraud and misconduct; ensure compliance with AP protocols and partner with district leadership and law enforcement when appropriate.
- Maintain and enforce proper operation of AP systems including CCTV, alarms and locks; ensure accurate use of POS and inventory controls for loss prevention.
- Build and sustain partnerships with retailers, property management, industry groups and local law enforcement to protect people and merchandise.
- Model and promote Sephora’s inclusive leadership standards and values in all AP activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years of progressive experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or retail security — multi‑location experience preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to recruit, coach and drive cross‑functional results with store management.
- Proven investigative skills, including interview techniques; Wicklander‑Zulawski or equivalent training preferred.
- Working knowledge of retail criminal and civil law, and the ethical use of discretion and judgment under pressure.
- Consistent application of policies and procedures with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with external partners including law enforcement and property management.

Experience
At least 3+ years in asset protection or loss prevention, ideally with prior multi‑location responsibility and demonstrated supervisory experience leading AP or security teams.
Education
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or certifications in criminal justice, security management or related fields preferred.
