Role & Responsibilities
- Promote safety and awareness by leading or participating in asset protection and safety protocol training sessions
- Maintain strong store presence by spending 75–80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft, support customer service, and ensure a safe environment
- Partner with store leadership and District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Use CCTV systems and reporting tools to identify and investigate inventory losses and suspicious activity
- De-escalate incidents professionally while prioritizing customer experience and employee safety
- Execute audits and prepare comprehensive reports documenting asset protection efforts and findings
- Adhere to all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as needed
- Represent Sephora in court proceedings if required
- Work flexibly during peak retail operations including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, inventory shrink, and workplace safety protocols
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across diverse teams
- Demonstrated conflict de-escalation skills
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and reporting tools
